When shopping for exotic cats on this site or any other you'll occassionally see people selling their animals at discounted prices.
This should send up a red flag.
Rasing healthy, quality Sphynx is an expensive business and one which requires an enormous
amount of diligence. You really must ask yourself, "What am I sacrificing for this "Great Deal"? Most times you can be
confident that, you'll pay and pay dearly for your "Great Deal", in vet bills and heartache in the end. This point can not be
over emphasized.
Buying a Sphynx, by all rights, is like adopting a baby. Would you go to an adoption agency and ask
to see the catalog of "discounted babies" or the babies that are on "Sale"? Of course not, nor should you when adopting
your new Sphynx baby.
Please remember this, the sting of poor quality will last far longer than the thrill of a good deal.
Truly,
Wendy
